Lilly of the West news April 2015

Lilly Drumeva (Lilly of the West) is currently managing an American musical which is going to be on tour in Eastern Europe in October 2015.

Dates in Bulgaria will feature Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, Gabrovo, Blagoevgad and other cities. "Cowboys & Indians - in song & verse" is a unique show, with real Crow Indians, ranch cowboys, music, poetry and dance.

Bluegrass and country music will be performed by the bands Meissner & Smith (California) and Lilly of the West (Bulgaria). Lilly Drumeva and guitar player Yasen Vasilev will also have leading roles in the project. For more information: Lilly@techno-link.com.

Lilly Drumeva has been working on a solo album, with original material. She has recorded 10 songs, some of which co-written with Bulgarian musicians Nikolay Nikolov (guitar) and Stamen Yanev (piano). The style is acoustic pop, designed for radio play. Half of the songs are in English and half are in Bulgarian language. "Nyakude Nazad", the first single reached Nr.19 on the Bulgarian charts. There is one bluegrass song as a bunus track, "Kuntri V Dushata", recorded by Slovakian band Candyfloss. Mandolin player Michal Barok is also featured on another song, "Poezija V Re". The release date is planned for early 2016.

Until then Lilly Drumeva will be busy promoting "Cowboys & Indians", an American musical touring in Bulgaria in October 2015.

In July and August she will work and play in The US (San Francisco area).
